My goal was to lose fat, check! Almost 12kg in 12 weeks, to gain muscle, check! And to gain strength, check!
In just 12 weeks my leg press went from 180kg to 300kg. My shoulder press went from 55kg to 85kg. My bench press went from 65kg to 75kg and my squats went from 70kg to 105kg. These stats are the ones which jumped out at me as the massive outliers, but when you look at my progress, every single muscle group I trained is massively stronger now.
I could not have achieved this without Carls help.

“ I have been overweight most of my life with a few brief periods of weight loss.
In essence it took me 20 years to put on so much weight that it seriously impacted my health and my joints, I have arthritis and both hips and knees are crumbly, I have been given one hip replacement at age 34 and at 40 I decided to do something about it.
I gave myself 10 years to get the kilos off, and as of last Thursday I have been discharged by my surgeon as the weight loss and strength training have been so effective that I have stabilised my joints and by keeping my weight down i should be able to avoid knee and hip replacement for at least 10 years.
I can not describe the relief, having had one joint replaced, it’s not something I recommend, by giving myself the gift of a healthy fitter body I am no longer at risk of complications from multiple surgeries and have reduced the risk of stroke and am now mostly pain free and much happier.”

“Being a mum, life was/has been all about my children.
Now they’re growing up, I’ve taken a step back and started looking at my life and where I was going.
I felt fat and frumpy, living in leggings and baggy tops, I decided now was the time to do something. I felt unhealthy and worried as I was becoming bigger that my health would start to cause concern.
I was tired all the time and just had no get up and go.

''I do, and always have done, a fair amount of sport, but as I’ve got older (now 60 ish) my muscle tone has been lacking.
I’m not really into running machines and the like but was interested in giving weights a go.

''Before coming to Carl I had tried many different diets and since my 3rd child my weight has steadily increased, I even invested in a semi-personal trainer. Even then working out 3-6 times a week and receiving nutritional guidance my weight wasn’t budging.
